Search Box Being Shortened

Description: When the following actions are performed, the search box on the top is shortened unnaturally:

1. Perform a search (any search) from the home page.
2. Click (select) a collection (ex. Judith Ortiz Cofer)
3. Click the Inventory tab
4. Expand one of the sections (series. ex. 1. Manuscripts)
5. Click on one of the items (ex. 1.1 Fiction- General)
6. Use the Browser's Back button to go back to the Inventory page

The search box should appear shorter, but the Search button will appear in the same place.
