Resource redirects, when viewing a resource list while not logged in, not working when logging in from Wayfinder.

Resource redirects are not working if I go to a database list page while not logged in, select a resource, then use the wayfinder to login. I am taken to the main landing page instead of the resource. If I enter a password instead, I am taken to the resource. This is happening for institutions that use OpenAthens and institutions still using the password.
