Reporting

We need an advanced search that will allow the user to select which area to search (institutions, resources, etc), then be allowed to build a search query/report with multiple criteria (perhaps add an option for each new criteria). The user should also have the ability to export the query results as a CSV.

We can discuss this more in person. Just want to make sure this is on everyone's radar.

Reports =========

Report: All Institutions IPs/OA

  • institution ID (id)
  • institution name (name)
  • GALILEO EZproxy IP (ezproxy_db300_ip)
  • Campus IPs (ip_numbers)
  • OpenAthens Proxy IP (field does not currently exist in GALILEO Admin)
  • OpenAthens Federation Entity ID (not currently in DOOR)
  • OpenAthens Scope (in GALILEO admin as openathens_orgid)
  • OpenAthens Organization ID (not currently in DOOR)
  • Institution Groups(s) (consortia)

Description/Use Case: Report that contains an institution's name, campus IPs, and proxy IP to give to vendors of new resources. This would include **ALL **institutions, but would exclude special institutions (Jimmy Carter, Regents, etc), demo accounts, and test accounts.

Note: This report contains several fields that are not currently in GALILEO Admin. While this report is for ALL institutions, Ken would also like a similar report that is for a particular institution group (usg, tcsg, gpals, etc)

Report: Institutional IP/Vendors

  • institution ID (id)
  • institution name (name)
  • GALILEO EZproxy IP (ezproxy_db300_ip)

  • OpenAthens Proxy IP (field does not currently exist in GALILEO Admin)
  • Resource Vendors (vendor_name)

Description/Use Case: This report is for when an institution has updated their IPs and GALILEO needs to update the IPs for all the vendors that they have receives with through GALILEO. Currently, I am using two reports to accomplish this:

Note: Using the GALILEO Database Reports, I have to copy into Excel and de-dup the vendor list and remove any public resources or DLG. I would like this report to not contain any DLG and public resource vendors and come already de-dupped.

Report: GLRI - Managing Locally Contact List

  • Institution code (id)
  • Institution name (name)
  • glri_participant = locally
  • glri contact name
  • glri_contact_email
  • glri_contact_phone

Description/Use Case: This report will give a list of contacts for all institutions who manage GLRI locally.

Report: GLRI - GALILEO Managing Contact List

  • Institution code (id)
  • Institution name (name)
  • glri_participant = galileo
  • glri contact name
  • glri_contact_email
  • glri_contact_phone

Description/Use Case: This report will give a list of contacts for all institutions where GALILEO manages GLRI for them.

Report: GLRI - All Contacts

  • Institution code (id)
  • Institution name (name)
  • glri_participant = locally or glri_participant = galileo
  • glri contact name
  • glri_contact_email
  • glri_contact_phone

Description/Use Case: This report will give a complete list of GLRI contacts

Report: GLRI - Not participating

Report: EDS Report

  • Institution ID (id)
  • Institution EBSCO Cust ID (eds_cust_id)

  • Library EDS Profile (eds_library_profile)
  • High School EDS Profile (eds_high_school_profile)

Description/Use Case:

Report that contains an institution's name, campus IPs, and proxy IP to give to EBSCO when a bulk add, remove, or change needs to be done by their bunch project team. This would include **ALL **institutions, but would exclude special institutions (Jimmy Carter, Regents, etc).

Note: For Curriculum Builder Profile, I would like the report to display "cbuilder" if value is "Yes" and blank if value value is "No."
