Proxy remote being applied to override URLs

If a resource has the "proxy remote" set to yes, an institution that has this resource allocated, but also has an override URL set, the override remote URL is still has the GALILEO EZProxy prefix applied.

For example:

Valdosta State University (val1) has access to American Chemical Society Journals (ACS) (acst). Access through our proxy does not work, so we have a override remote URL setup that uses their proxy.

My two suggestions would be:

  • Have the "proxy remote" setting not apply to override URLs
  • Add a proxy remote override setting at the allocation level

I do not think there are many cases where this is happening. I realize Valdosta State is OA-enabled, but some users still end up accessing using their EZproxy or GALILEO password.
