Prevent pages with multiple thumbnails from jumping around so much as the thumbnails load

The old site seems to fix the height of each row of results. It would be nice to have a light gray box a placeholder for each thumbnail before it loads, but it gets complicated because the thumbnails have different aspect ratios, which I'm not sure we know in advance
