recommendation: The images in the carousel are decorative, but are not marked up in a way that would allow them to be ignored by assistive technology. Decorative images are images that do not add any information to the content of the page. They are simply placed for aesthetic value. For this reason, images that fall into this category should be marked as decorative by using an empty alt tag on the image element (alt=""). Placing an empty alt tag on the element will allow assistive technology like screen readers to skip over these images completely.
