Mirador query string persists after you navigate away to a new page

  • Go to a page with Mirador. Your page's URL will have a query string that reflects the canvas/zoom/pan of the viewer. E.g, https://crdl-bl-staging.galib.uga.edu/record/dlg_bald_ph-765?canvas=0&x=1246&y=516&w=998
  • Now click one of the subject links from the items metadata. You go to a page whose URL should be, for example: https://crdl-bl-staging.galib.uga.edu/records?f%5Bsubject_facet%5D%5B%5D=Pressure+groups--United+States&only_path=true
  • ...But when you get there, the URL in your browser's address bar changes to https://crdl-bl-staging.galib.uga.edu/records?canvas=0&x=1246&y=516&w=0
  • Sharing that URL with others will land them at the equivalent of https://crdl-bl-staging.galib.uga.edu/records (an unfiltered search)

If this fix is successful, we will also apply it to DLG.
